I was glad that my instructor came up with the idea for us to work the flight from Charlotte to Knoxville instead of us deadheading because if it wouldn't have worked out, I would have not passed and would have had to do a few more hours with someone else. We got to Knoxville about 9:30 pm and I was done, I got my wings!

I actually had a drive for the first time while Peter had a nap, of course as soon as I sat in the drivers seat it started raining and also had road works. Westward to Asheville going through the the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, we had intended to go to Cherokee but the guide book says its dominated by a 21 storey hotel and Casino - not ...

We spent new years eve at Ober Gatlinburg, We rode the tram up. Unfortunately it was very crowded and took us 2 1/2 hours in line to get on the tram. Was pretty ride up to the top of the mountain. But once there they were making snow, and the mountain tops had snow from the night before still on the trees. We ate at the buffet in the restaurant that was excellent, Lot of food ...
