    ... a little before they'll allow us to board. Once on the plane though, the Captain blamed the ground staff for not being as swift as they usually are. Ha! I wander if he was trying to avoid panic in light of recent events, unlike the flight attendant. We took it to mean the cabin was too warm, rather than the engine or mechanics anyway, but who knows what was happening.

    ... flight was boarding! Ashley was still going thru security so I went ahead and boarded. The flight was VERY full and I found an empty row with an empty overhead bin and managed to hoist my bag into it all by myself. I put my backpack up there as well to save a spot for hers.
