There are however huge billboard adverts of various bible readings, car stickers with the 10 commandments and yes, verses from the bible on the back of Rob's pork scratchings. Perhaps something to cogitate as the heart attack takes hold.

What a lovely sunset. I thought we had met the noisiest family when camping in Colorado - but no! Noisy, noisy family opposite us. In Alabama we noticed that the price for petrol had ...

The campground was purpose built and beautifully laid out leading down to a small beachfront with it's own jetty and fishing pavilion, club house, pool etc. How come we were so lucky we weren't sure, but we were given a water view site so could sit outside all day and evening enjoying the surroundings. Navarre itself has a lovely long beach with quite a few holidaymakers and a popular jetty for fishing etc. Most of the jetties have a cost to walk or fish from ...

... delicious. Afterwards we drove around the downtown area. A lot of the building architecture resembles the French Quarter in New Orleans and there are plenty of eating establishments and shops to draw folks in. It was nice to see lots of people out enjoying the evening.

Day 7 of 49 (Sep 13). We awoke to temperatures in the mid 60’s and sunny this morning. What a change from the last few rainy days. ...
