Still at Vegas Baby
Got up nice and early and grabbed a Starbucks, something that was certainly going to be a trend in the US of A, hot chocolate only for me though. We then went for a dip in the pool to wake ourselves up, feeling a little worse for wear. After trying to wash out the cobwebs we got on the monorail and headed up to the MGM grand and wandered from Hotel …
Vegas baby!
Got up early with the idea of leaving at 8, which we made, but lots of faffing around and shoeing stuff into bags etc – the electricity was out, so cold wash had to be settled for, packed up the tent, the trailer was loaded and off we set.
Currently on the mini bus heading toward Las Vegas – VEGAS BABY – cant wait. But …

Historical Traveler Reviews Hilton Grand Vacations Suites - Las Vegas (Convention Center)
Great value at Hilton Grand Vacation Club on Karen Ave.
My family and I stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club in February 2004 for one week. We had a 2 bedroom condo. It was wonderful.
Beautifully decorated and fully equipt kitchen. Just bring food. Master bedroom had jacuzzi tub and other bedroom had sleeper sofa in it. Would have been perfect for 2 couples. King bed awfully hard though only disappointment. I requested egg crate pad or something but no help was offered from front desk. Next time I'll bring a foam pad or something.
When the tram begins operation March 1 you won't even need a car. Food and service at the Hilton Hotel and Casino excellent. None of us won anything in their casino but their restraunts offer great 2 for 1 if you sing up for some card there.
Great Condo Near the Convention Center
My husband and I stayed in a 1-bedroom unit at the HGVC Las Vegas in August of 2003 and were very impressed with the spacious room complete with kitchen, laundry and jacuzzi tub. We have recommended it to friends and family. The only drawback was a relatively small pool compared to some of the big hotels on the strip. It would be great for travellers attending an event at the Vegas Convention Center.
Great Suite... Best Value I've seen in LV yet
I had a one bedroom suite and it was great. Great place to party with friends. I recommend getting a room on the top floor with views of the strip.
The suites are clean and newer. Soon the las vegas tram will open with a stop right next door, making it even more convienent. A++
Can't beat this place
Everything about the Hilton Grand Vacations near the Hilton is perfect with exception of the location not being great. The pool isn't huge, but we have never seen it 2 crowded. I believe someone mentioned sharing the pool with the flamingo, that's a different HGVC property.
The property he was referring to does have it's own pool as well although you can use the Flamingo pools. We love the Hilton Grand vacation suites and plan on staying at the new facility this summer. If class is what you are looking for give this a try.
Nice for the price!
We stayed here in May 2003 for two nights. We had a one bedroom suite that slept 4 people. The room had very nice decor, a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom, the bathroom itself was very spacious, and overall it was very clean. The rooms even had a washer and dryer in them that is convenient for long time stays. Are view wasn't great but nice. Its right next to the Las Vegas Hilton and also walking distance to the Sahara, so no hassle with taxis. They also had bicycle taxis outside the resort that come and take you to the Hilton or the strip if you didn't feel like walking. The pool was small, but they did have a pool table downstairs, a small deli and lounge where you could watch tv. Pretty nice little joint. I recommend it and would stay there again!
It was OK
Stayed at HGVC and found that the rooms are very tacky, pool area is shared with the Flamingo and was very crowded. No chairs available by 1 o'clock inthe afternoon. I probably would not stay there again.
Very Very nice, quiet, comfortable and big rooms!
We had a nice vacation at the HGVH. The room is very big with a dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom and a big whirlpool tub for 2(not the studio). But we found the pool very small....The hotel is not on the strip but we rented a car and we went everywhere, the parking is free on the strip. HGVH is not too expensive and you have all, also a washer and a dryer...
Great place to stay
I was thoroughly impressed by this resort. This is the one located on Karen Ave. It met all my expectations and more. Clean, spotless, non-smoking floor, roomy, what else can I say. We will be staying there from now on. We only booked 2 nights and they were booked up for the Sept 12th weekend. So we then moved to the J.W. Marriott in Summerlin.
-No comparison -This place has no casino which was great, but if you do gamble you can walk right next door to the Hilton hotel. You have access to all their amenities also. It's truly a home away from home.
Nicest Suite in LV
This is by far the most comfortable and luxurious place to stay in Las Vegas. We have stayed twice now, and wil not stay anywhere else. All there 1 and 2 bedroom suites have jacuzzi tubs, full size ktichens, 2 VCR's and 2 TV's, washer and dryer, and lots lots more. We just want to live there! I'm so impressed. And it is affordable!
Wonderful addition to the Hilton properties
After staying at Mandalay Bay 3 times, and HGVC 1 time, I knew I would continue to stay at the HGVC. Don't get me wrong - the mega resort Mandalay Bay was terrific, but each year the price gets more and more ridiculous which is why my husband and I decided to give HGVC a try. We were very impressed and satisfied. While the resort is one block off the strip next to the Hilton Convention Ctr, it was still very convenient. The Hilton next door has many restaurants (Benihana-our favorite), but the HGVC has a deli in the bldg that serves hot and cold sandwiches, pizza, frozen dinners, etc. You can rent videos, play pool, watch the big screen TV, or just hang out at the bar next to the pool on the main level. Now, to get to the unit itself. Wonderful decor - sophicated neutrals all the way thru. We stayed in a 1 Bdrm Condo Suite and we had a separate BR with the jacuzzi in our bdrm. Full kitchen, washer & dryer, LR/DR combo with a like a 35"TV and VCR. A lot of bang for your bucks here people!
