    Today was a day of packing. I cannot resist adding a picture of the vehicle assembly that will be heading south tomorrow. Although today was beautiful - at least sunny - the temperatures are dropping. I wore my thermal underwear to my volunteer job at Riverwood yesterday! We are looking forward to an early start tomorrow and hope to meet Lillian and Charles in time for lunch.

    ... and across the road to the beach. Absolute heaven. We met David and Joseph and headed straight to the Banyan Bar at the Moana Surfrider. This hotel was the first to be built in Waikiki and is a beautiful, stately hotel with a lovely verandah. The banyan tree in the bar area by the beach was planted in 1900 and was only 7 feet tall.
