    Day 25

We were up at 6:30a.m. and left the hotel before 8:00a.m. We made it to Toledo by 5:00. We were in our driveway before 6:00p.m. after a trip to the grocery store. All animals are alive, well, and happy to see us! Now the fun part of cleaning out the car:(

Yes, we would leave tomorrow and do it all over again if we could! There were a few meltdowns along the way, but the laughter and experiences far exceeded the not-so-fun times.

... approached London, Ontario, (2 hours later) Carol wanted to stop for a little something . . . and to leave a little something, if you know what I mean. The traffic at the exit was very busy and stopped up. There was a Costco located right at the exit (we could only see the back of it). We dismissed it as a busy shopping Friday! Boy, we couldn't have been more wrong!!

Another interesting bit of information. We went to the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History in Ann Arbor and saw some ...

Got up in Kennebec, SD (no tornado in the night blowing us home) and ended up in a rest stop just on the east side of Toledo, OH (home of Klinger from M*A*S*H, one of Ryan's favorite shows). That is 982 miles for those keeping track of the Machine's ability to drive extremely long distances! The first rain we saw on the trip was at 9:15am CST as we barreled down the road in SD. The kids stayed up till the wee hours of the night to ...

... oddly enough, a fully stocked liquor store.

Tomorrow, we are heading into Ann Arbor for the day. We will drop Fox off at Doggie Daycare and visit the University of Michigan campus. It should prove to be educational!

Bye for now and stay well.
