... is on the very edge of the city where it abuts the beautiful hills of the lush California countryside. Ciel’s home is filled with art, a lot of it her own exquisite paintings. We got lots of advice to help us plan our visit to San Francisco and Wendy got a mini painting critique and lots of inspiration. ... changed & went to dinner. Because the resort hate Mcdougall weekends regularly there's a Mcdougall section of the menu, so nice to have multiple options. Had a glass of local Pinot noir with my meal. Tonight chose a tofu spinach lasagne and cos lettuce salad with a peanut dressing, finished with a platter of fresh fruit. So there I was, in Full House style driving across the bridge with the city in the distance. It was really cool! I caught some traffic though as it was the end of the work day and it added an extra hour to my trip to wine country in Santa Rosa. I was staying in a budget hotel/motel and it was so nice!
