          Last Sunday, one of the Karpetz-side cousins - Melissa came by with her family including a little 3 year old, Jack. WE took Jack to the local Railway park and we finally had an excuse to ride the little train. It was a lovely visit.

          ... out and sold one. I also had a free oranges sign and the tangelo, which had at least 200 oranges on it, is almost empty. At 12:30 we headed to Mesa Art center for the Cheng Yun Chinese Ballet that we have tickets for, and arrived in plenty of time. What a great experience! This was worth the expensive tickets. Back home and later played pool and tonight I won both games. A meal of salad, beans and hotdogs and some TV.

          ... highway 8 through japaful valley to have our first taste of things to come.. here the mountain ranges were arid with little greenery , trees or water... it was however spectacular and beautiful in its own way.. we passed many tiny ranches with buildings that blended into the landscape and a few scattered animals roaming around for what little food was available..
