We are now drinking beer and cider by the grill and preparing for a long drive tomorrow towards the direction of the Grand Canyon but with a few pit stops in between - first stop Lake Havasu, AZ.
We were at the Hearst Castle before 9am but unfortunately being a weekend there tours were already booked up for the morning so we couldn't go up and see it properly.. We are staying at Campland on the Bay ( www.campland.com) which is a huge camp site by the seaside close to San Diego Seaworld. It has 2 swimming pools and a jacuzzi, a play area, market, cafe and laundry etc. it is very popular in summer and rather popular in winter too.
We had dinner at the cafe and are having a quiet night tonight.
