    ... avocados), the hikes… oh and the chips! Everything about that place was perfect. Obviously, I loved the chimps too. It was one of the most surreal encounters to watch them. Also, the hippo that walked right past us at the hotel was crazy. We were so close! It was so unexpected and fun.

    ... and not just on Mardi Gras. No surprise there. There is a walkway that connects old town to new town and New Town is a bit more modern. It has a lot of outdoor shopping centers. We didn't always feel safe once we left the shopping centers. It was a bit dodgy. The capital of California is Sacramento, so they have a mini white house looking building here and a park surrounding it. The park was not the best, but it had a lot of rose bush and orange trees. ...
