        ... security.

        But this time, instead of preparing for a 8 hour car ride to college, I'm headed toward a 15 hour plane ride to the other side of the world. It's the furthest I've ever been from home and the furthest I've ever been alone. It's a pretty intimidating thought, but also exhilirating in it's own way. At the moment I don't know what kind of expectations I have, so I keep picturing it as a big looming question mark that will soon be my new residence.

        ... was a stick shift so I also did that as a first. It was kind of scary. I liked lowering the bucket and looking like a bad ass. The rest was boring.
        Now I am back on base and am planning a trip to San Fransisco next weekend. Something simple. Take the train, spend one night in the hotel. Nothing insane.

        Salina: Today is Monday, but it totally felt like a Friday to me. Kit went to work early this morning as he had a project to wrap up with his team.
