We got back on the road and hit some traffic coming into Atlanta (which I felt was normal) however we drove through thunderstorms also, which made the traffic that much worse.

We finally arrived at Mike and Ida’s house at 7pm just before another thunderstorm and pouring rain started. We ...

He tried to pass the street sign, but I quickly pointed it out (not wanting be late for the birthday party of course). Turns out, my lovely friends had planned a going away party for me and Nathan was doing his best to delay our arrival. I walked into their beautiful room while they casually guided ...

... to the 'Golden Corral' next door. The Golden Corral turned out to be the one success of the day! For $14 I got an all you can eat buffet (including pudding) so I took advantage and had four steaks! After eating far too much I popped across to the cinema to watch 300 and headed home at about 1130. One and a half hours later I returned back to the base. What should have been a 30 minute drive home turned in to me doing a lap of the city on the ring road that goes ...
