      ... The wooden boardwalk has been replaced by a concrete path that runs right along the coast. A lot of the houses have been reconstructed, this time they are up on high piers. A safeguard of any more hurricanes that will no doubt one day happen.

      A quick trip through Mississippi and we were now entering Alabama where we were to stay for two nights before heading into Florida for the weekend to see our lovely young friend get married.

      ... couldn't believe Larry made my picture while I was trying to climb into this plane cockpit!!!

      The upper floor of the museum includes a section of World War II memorabilia, then a walk through Pensacola during World War II, a favorite of all of us.       ... Kafe Is Krazy Kool." Actually, it's one of the few places around here that serve regular meals with veggies. Larry had beef tips and rice, baby limas, squash casserole, and cornbread. Josh had the most enormous hamburger ever, some buffalo chicken doo-dads, and some fries. Larry was happy to get a good meal.

      ... our motor mounts replaced.

      Six days later the mechanics finally tracked down the "difficult to find" part in Michigan, tapped the mounts, installed the part and let us know it was ready. Cue more problems. The battery light was staying on permanently, meaning the alternator was not working properly. Although having the motor mounts repaired and replaced was supposed to fix the intermittent charging, we had to take our car back into Pepboy's.
