Laredo, Texas, United States sp33d3rich... regresamos a USA caminando sobre Rio Grande.

Today we made a quick visit to Mexico. A 230Km from San Antonio, Laredo is located (USA), and Nuevo Laredo (Mexico), separated by the famous Rio Grande. We parked the car in Laredo and after a brief visit, we crossed the border on foot, how exciting. Upon our arrival to Mexico, and after paying 75 cents, the street was plenty of Mexicans waiting there to offer ...

Laredo, Texas, United States jacobsims... rv, waiting for help. . At 7:50 someone came to help change the tire. Papaw cooked dinner in the microwave while we waited. . I lost my tooth while eating a piece of candy. We limped into Laredo and stayed in the walmart parking lot our first night. They came back to finish the tire at 7:45 a.m. the next morning. We walked to burger king for breakfast, then we had to buy 4 more tires.
Laredo, Texas, United States jacobsims... to a taxi stand. I hadn't been to Nuevo Laredo in probably around 5 years or so, and I had heard it had become very dangerous. But everything was fine and went very smoothly. After a $5 cab ride to the Bus Station, we got our tickets and waited to board. The bus station was very nice, and the buses are too. I am really surprised how easy it was to get over into Mexico, and wonder if we may actually have more trouble getting back into the states. -Homero - Nuevo Laredo, Mexico
Nuevo Laredo, Mexico hrsanchez... called on the 2-way. Hurry back guys, one of the best waterfront sites has just been vacated. We had to stake our claim before someone else. We cruised back to the site's private beach and started to relocate all our chairs and bikes while Bev pedaled furiously back to the main gate to re-book the new site. After convincing the rangers the woman who had left wasn't coming back they eventually gave us the ...
Laredo, Texas, United States mcgregors5... Quemado and we would have to take another route. We ended up taking Texas 131 to Brackettville and US 90 to Del Rio and only lost about half an hour, but we missed seeing the hometown of Jon Dee Graham. From Del Rio we took US277 to Sonora and there we got on I-10. As we got closer to El Paso we finally got out of the rain and crossed our first time zone and into Mountain Time. In El Paso we met up my friend Sibyl and her ...
Laredo, Texas, United States trialsrider... Turned out we crossed the border with no problem at all, the bus stopped outside the office where we got our tourist cards in a very suspicious office with lots of scary Mexican officials sat around watching football and hopped back on the bus within minutes to go to customs. The 2 buses in front of us had to get off and all their bags checked but for some reason when it came to ours we just drove straight through. Anyway, there was a definite deterioration ...
Laredo, Texas, United States frankandcharlie... out to be a big mistake that cost dearly in the first loop. The Rider's Meeting got started a little late and we didn't get underway until 9:47 and lucky for me the Trialsmaster gave us some extra time as many of the morning riders didn't finish by the 12:30 cut off time. Section one was an easy one at the end of the overflow parking area that wound around and over some rocks. I was not properly warmed up and took two dabs on a section that I would easily clean on the next two attempts ...

We spent a while bartering with the shopkeeper just for the fun of it while her husband sat in the background yelling something to the effect of "No perro aqui! No perro aqui!" Zoobley politely ignored him and made herself comfortable on a low pile of rugs. Disconcertingly, I noticed numerous cardboard ...
