I recommend to stay here if you want to be in the middle of the action. Easy access to the subway. Between the Empire State Building and Herald Square.

Arrived at 5:45am and took a taxi to our hotel (cost $50.00) and had to wait for almost an hour for our schedule "Timeshare Update". It took about a hour since no one was there yet. I was totally wasted since I got only a couple of hours of sleep on the plane. Lucky for us the guy we were assigned to realize that we were not there to buy so he let …

So we sat there enjoying our cones and watching the people.

We finally head to the library and there are so many people there so the pics are hard to ...

... I took the short trip onward to Ellis Island. Originally an island acquired for harbour defence and known as Fort Gibson, Ellis Island was opened as an immigration processing facility in 1892. In total 12 million European immigrants were processed at the facility before it closed in 1954. Six million of those were processed in just a nine year period from 1901- 1910. The museum tells the story of who some of them were, why they came, how they ...

Once you're in Manhattan you hardly ever see the outer edge, and even when you do, at the other side of the river is just more city. Whether it's Queens, Brooklyn or Jersey City, if you live on the island of Manhattan, you could easily go a few months ...
