I recommend to stay here if you want to be in the middle of the action. Easy access to the subway. Between the Empire State Building and Herald Square.

So I found a spot at the bar - picked a local Peter Luger Ale and sampled the ambience. There was a young couple sitting next to me have a discussion about the beautiful young lady's heritage - Malaysian born Chinese who was educated in - well ...

What a fitting monument to welcome the new Americans. We were not able to get tickets to the crown, which may have been a blessing in disguise, as far as I am concerned. The way to the crown is via a small spiral stairway all the way to the top. We were able to view the NYC skyline from the pedestal of the ...

We have completed all the usual things - Greenwich Village, Central Park, Top of the Rock, Macy's, etc but this time we also felt we had to visit the brand new September 11th Museum. Situated in between the two memorial fountains, this huge (underground) space tells the story of the day (not that we need it) and contains all sorts of objects.
