I recommend to stay here if you want to be in the middle of the action. Easy access to the subway. Between the Empire State Building and Herald Square.

Arrived at 5:45am and took a taxi to our hotel (cost $50.00) and had to wait for almost an hour for our schedule "Timeshare Update". It took about a hour since no one was there yet. I was totally wasted since I got only a couple of hours of sleep on the plane. Lucky for us the guy we were assigned to realize that we were not there to buy so he let …

... another "wow" moment. Totally Joey heaven in NY! They also had a special event on in the Library so loads of people were dressed up and heading in there - they had loads of candles lit on the steps up to the entrance. Too amazing for words (yet I do seem to be finding a lot of words don't I?!)

So instead of Union Square, we found a bar about 15 minutes from Grand Central and had some fries and a couple of beers. I had a Harpoon UFO Pumpkin beer. It was really good. And only ...

... do?!" Indy exclaimed "F$%^" in her little parrot kind of way. We ignored it and made big eyes to each other like "Whoops!!!" and then she said it again...Thankfully we haven't heard it since but both of us are VERY careful with what we say now!

That afternoon we went back to the shopping district. Indy fell asleep at the perfect time and I was able to buy a couple of dresses and some shoes. Adrian saved his shopping for that evening when we made it ...

... I know!) from a cute little shop called Glow. I popped in a few other shops to look around and window shopped until my feet hurt so bad I could *************e foot in front of the other. I made it back to my neighborhood and had dinner at a nice little rustic Italian place called Belli Osteria. I had an absolutely decadent bowl of risotto with mushrooms and butternut squash. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm on vacation or if it's just Brooklyn, but everything tastes better ...
