This post is a little different it is not like my typical touristy type blog...I could have written one like that but I wanted to share this story with you. It just felt right. Anyways that is all...now I'm officially in the "Dust Bowl," Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Surfing again with some new friends. It just keeps getting better!

... with almost a heavy heart as the last couple of days had been so great. This being the beginning of my trip, I really relished the time in the woods. It had been so long since I last had such times. Fortunately, this was only the beginning!
I drove two hours north to Nashville, where I would be staying the next two nights and hoped to have a little fun. On the way up, I passed through Manchester, TEN, which is the site of the annual Bonnaroo Music ...
... course Nashville is more than just boot shops (although there are a heck of a lot of them) and having spent a couple of days exploring, what it lacks in the intimacy, personality and relaxed pace of Memphis it makes up for in ambition, tenacity and an un-stinting belief that anyone can make it! And anyone can - which was nowhere more apparent than walking down Music Row to see house after house of recording studios, labels, agents, music lawyers, music ...
... the cars weren't too fancy and we only say one farm that had any animals on it (horses).
We will skip the Lynchburg tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery for the Jim Beam Distillery on the way to Louisville tomorrow instead. Races start at 6:00pm on a Saturday. This is a promotion the track is trying out. 3 Saturday Night Races in June. The first one drew 23,000 people. Yikes!
