... I was able to take some great photos of the statue at the Circle and the statue of the microphone that represents Music Row. There used to be a lot of parking over here, but now they are building some lovely condos ...so the parking is gone, but the homes are almost finished. Then this place will be extremely busy.
... I have to admit is one of the reasons I wanted to stay in Nashville. I was having severe withdrawals from shopping at TJs. Stocked up on several things for Sheri and I and headed out.
All in all, the driving was uneventul, not a lot to see. It was a good drive except for when I was driving south from Nashville - had quite a bit of wind as I was driving through the mountains, but I continued to make good time.

... the magnificent Opryland Hotel decorated for Christmas. There was an added bonus of an ice sculpture exhibition, this year Frosty the Snowman, carved by a team of Chinese folks who start in July – fantastic. This is my favourite Hotel, ever, anywhere I’ve ever been – a must see in my opinion. Red Bay is a one-off and it was the next stop. ... we spent on Broadway Ave bar hoping from one happy hour to another with live music in every bar. A bar called Tootsies was unbelievable mainly due to the bar being packed and providing a good atmosphere and also because the band playing performed the majority of their set on top of the bar. We also made our way to the bars in Printer's Alley which were quiet when we were there, but we could see that this was a location that would turn wild at night.
... one of many. Jim Reeves, Roy Orbison, Charlie Pride, Dolly Parton, Don Gibson and the list goes on. I could have sat in that studio for hours.
When you go on tours there is always that anoying person who holds up the tour because they take so long taking pictures and is slow to leave...................I was that person! It was worth the 13 hour plane trip just for Studio B.
