We arrived in Chicago 3 hours late, making our total first long distance Amtrak journey approximately 20 hours long. Overall not a bad experience with huge chairs which were comfortable but unsurprisingly not the best nights sleep. There were amazing views travelling through the countryside and mountainous regions of northeast USA.
