Afterwards, I had lunch in millennium park which was a great setting paired with the first beautiful sunny day I had experienced since being in Chicago. ... ice and snow. The beaches are of course quite different in the warmer months and attract plenty of people for swimming and sunbathing. We followed the lakefront around to Navy Pier. Plenty of hardy joggers and people walking dogs along the way, despite the freezing conditions. Not too much happening with the outdoor attractions given the weather, but the indoor areas were still crowded with tourists and locals.
