      ... biked about 8 miles or so down to Al's #1 Italian Beef, another Man vs. Food recommendation. Due to it taking us about an hour to get to the place because we got lost, we decided to just eat there rather then take it to the beach.       ... like transporting something half-way around the globe only to forget it on the one day you need it. On the weekend Kevin and family took me to Navy Pier where we rode the giant Ferris wheel from which you can see all of downtown and look out over Lake Michigan. By that time it had fortunately stopped snowing and the temperatures were back up in the tolerable range for May; it was even warm enough to sit outside for lunch!
