    ... tour with audio. The kids enjoyed it and were interested to see the basic conditions and small cells. They were more interested in the escapes! At 2pm we thought they needed to be reminded of freedom so set off on bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. Wow Totally recommend this amazing track and views and bridge. Come on Auckland, we could cycle or walk for free!! However in winter 2pm on a lovely Saturday could be a bit late to set ...

    ... cliche hanging on the outside of the San Fran cable car. Well you may laugh, but these are hotly contested berths; people wait multiple cable cars in order to be at the front of the queue and get an outside spot. We weren't desperate for one, but happy to take up the opportunity. Lots of fun!
