    ... a WWII era submarine, the USS Drum. This submarine was commissioned in 1941 and saw plenty of battle as well. If you have never been in a sub, it is amazing to think that over 70 people could be in those cramped quarters for long periods of time, underwater. That would not be an assignment for me.

    ... so I am fine.

    We join the ferry line about 4:00 for the return ferry at 5:15. We figure we can kill the hour by enjoying the waters edge and just hanging out. The number on our spot says 25. Come to find out, the ferry holds 22- 25 cars so it is questionable whether we will make the 5:15. The next, and last ferry, is scheduled for 6:30. Well, what are we supposed to do?
