Fort York was a pleasant surprise. Initially I was expecting to see a really old castle looking place but fort York was in no way a representation of that. The fort looked more like a scouts camp ground with a few cabins. We went for two different tours, one about the defensive positioning and tactic of the fort and one about the lives of the soldiers and officers.
