One year later the green knight sees gawain after an extensive journey, and attempts to take his turn. On the first try Gawain flinches and the Green knight wants to try again.
... pleading with Gwain to turn back and not to take on the Knight. Gwain ignored him and kept going. finally they get to a shack then the guide turn around and left Gwain on his own.
Sir Gwain enters the shack and sees the knight. The knight greets him and asked him if he was ready for the challenge to be complete.
