      ... and nothing happened to me’. If there was ever a time to shut up, it was then. I declined desert so that I could get back to my seat and the pleasant young art teacher who worked in Nebraska in such a small town that she had been in the local newspaper 4 times in a year including one article simply reporting her arrival in town.

      ... us a room at the Livermore DoubleTree Hotel which is right around the corner from where she lives. After getting the kids calmed down and watching a movie, Suzi and I were able to escape the crowd and visit both Lisa and Tami as the worked Friday night.

      The grandkids and greatgrandkids are always delighted to see Grandma Suzi and it is always delightful for us to spend time with family.

      ... Sadie does. The game plan was to get them tired so Bobby and I could leave Sadie and meet Chris Dougherty, a friend I've known since 4th grade.

      Chris lives in Montclair and aside from being a theatre costumer, paints watercolors of ocean and clouds. I have tried to paint both ocean and clouds and they always come out wrong.
