    Departed Ottawa early afternoon. We enjoyed a delightful, though too short, visit with Raph and his Mum and Dad for supper at their home in Toronto, then got out of the city before turning in for the night at the ON Route service centre at Cambridge ON. Great idea to avoid Monday morning rush hour traffic in TO.

    We continue on North Shore Boulevard and realize that this is taking us out of our objective to stay close to home so we turn around and head back into Hamilton. A sign catches my eye. “HMCS Haida” it reads and an arrow point the direction required to travel.     ... where Vienna airport lost points. The area was crowded and a tad chaotic. Security was slow. I even had to take off my watch. Inside, I would estimate one third of the passengers were standing around ie no seats. I was eventually in seat 18A aboard a B767-300 by 1012.

    Now on to packing....we are restricted to 15kg for final leg of the trip. We can leave some luggage in the hotel in Arusha or pack really lightly and do laundry along the way.
