      If you live in the south, you never get snow, you don't even expect it! When the rare time comes around that you ACTUALLY get snow, all hell breaks loose! Even if it is a few flurries, you break everything warm out you have, and act like it is a freakin' blizzard!! Or at least that is what we do in my house.       We treated ourselves to breakfast delivery to the room at 9am, as we were all up late because of the time difference of 2 hours. After packing up, we walked across the street to walk over the Waco Suspension Bridge which, when it was built in 1870, was the longest suspension bridge west of the Mississippi.       ... John and I have started our annual summer hiking excursions, and one of new adventures this year was exploring Mother Neff State Park in Moody, Texas. Although some of the hiking trails are currently closed, the ones that remain open are worthwhile and afford pleasant views of the Texas Hill Country.       The day started out as usual. Bob up at the crack of dawn, me sleeping until 8:30 or so. The sun was peeping out from the occasional cloud until about noon, when it was mostly clear. The temp reach 65 or so with the occasional burst of wind which still brought the cedar, so no relief today.

      Most of the day we spent inside, me sleeping, Bob reading, but about 2:00 we ventured out to visit with the group who were gathered outside ...
