    ... articulate.
    They met Dottie Metcalf Lindenberger. Their name patches were removed and pinned back on so that their name was written the right way up.
    After the ceremony the students stayed with their team until 4pm. I went back to the education Centre and rested.
    Went to airport.
    Flight cancelled.
    Stayed at hotel.
    Caught flight next day.

    ... out of the hula hoop on the floor.
    The bottle rolled at least 2 m longer than any other rover in the competition! Our team won that challenge.
    Chris presented his design of our mission patch.
    We met Dottie Metcalf Lindenberger. Awesome speech.
    Trouble staying awake.

    ... was the architect of the Saturn V rocket that sent men to the moon. He is an American Hero.

  • Conducted an experiment to filter then recycle water. Our team had the least amount of materials - crushed charcoal and zeolite crystals, then had the greatest reduction in acidity. Legends!

    ... in the ring could adjust its course and/or fuel burn. Today this rocket guidance system could all be done with a $100 arduino microprocessor, GPS and accelerometer, from Hobby King. Different for Don who was the first to invent the whole system, pretty much from scratch!

    ... flyingfox into water. Pretty slow. Resembles the impact landing and taking off. The helicopter rescue is a problem solving scenario about escaping a sinking helicopter and swimming to a rescue helicolter's cradle chair, then be winched to safety.

  • F16 fighter plane out the front.
  • Lunch - chicken and chilli kebabs, cabbage and pickles salad, rice and potato salad. Massive cals.
