      ... for "fakeoff"

The seven hour flight is relatively uneventful other than Rob Roy can't wait for the beach making her rounds with elbows high and fake smiles firing off volleys of turkey buns to appease the restless. They did compliment the two hundred plus with a free beverage, dinner and a roll. We arrive in Lima after an eighteen hour grunt from Calgary at 1:15am. Our pick-up is waiting at the exit with his " Mr. Creestopher Hanseen" sign, a welcome sight. ...

      Changes I made

Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?

... weekend? Me, blank stare back. Huh? For you that know me, I am the first to hop a plane for a fun weekend. However, we were still trying to piece together another trip to Asia around Christmas, and it was like a never-ending puzzle.

Nevertheless, let's spin the globe and see 1) Where can go for less than the cost of our house and 2) has the right fare class so we can use our ...

      Elections Day from abroad

My friend Cone and I went on a road trip. The idea was to go vote at the Costa Rican Consulate and then go to see the Carta Magna being displayed somewhere in Houston.
We got there later than we had planned but there was a pleasant surprise for us! The CR colony in Houston had gotten together and there was food for sale. We had some Empanadas de papa that were really ...
