... We were eventually drawn towards the retail shops and the sales that have been on offer since Thanksgiving. "Take an extra 50% off the current sale price" was the norm as we made our way (slowly) through Gap and Macy's. ... back on. I felt like sarcastically clapping in his face. So anyway, I was picked up by my cousins wife's mum (a bit confusing but hopefully you get it...the wife is a Chicagoan), gerri who was so lovely and had offered me a place to stay at her house for a few weeks! How excited was I; I was presented with an amazing double water bed, I didn't have to lock up my stuff and had access to Netflix; what more could I want? Such a nice family, I felt welcome from the minute ...

... with places I wanted to visit in one column, and then had the months of my trip across the top. I then looked up the weather patterns of each place and put an X in each month that the weather was reasonable to be there. Finally, I started piecing together a schedule that fit the X's and kept travel distance and time to a minimum.

At this point look up entry/exit requirements for each country and decide on visa or visa on arrival if ...
