We still haven't seen any snow and hopefully the temperatures will stay above 0C. We are seeing lots of Canada geese and snow geese and we even saw a herd of deer.

We were not able to find a campground that is open so we stayed in a WalMart parking lot overnight. With our furnace and our generator running, we were quite cosy.

... gear stick, so why not)! (Dad, if you're reading this, it is purely poetic license and hasn't a jot of truth in it......honest). I even used the hospital's VALET PARKING facility (can you imagine this in UK hospitals????!!!!!!) It was rather funny when I was waiting for my car at the end of the day, with one of the head nurses...she said, is this it? But it being a rental car...I actually had no idea...I had to look in the boot just to check it was! :P

Stephanie and I have been applying to teach overseas for a couple months. We want adventure and an opportunity to do ministry in a foreign land. We had the chance to teach in China and South Korea, but we turned down offers when it seemed that we would have the opportunity to go to Taiwan. We hadn't yet gotten jobs in Taiwan yet but we felt like God was leading us there, so we passed on China and S. Korea and focused on Taiwan. A few weeks ...

      Day 31

Today, I spent the whole day playing outside or watching TV. Then at 4:00, I went to a party at my friend's house. We played Football, Basketball (on the neighbor's court because his had bees and I got stung by one) and Capture the Flag. Then we ate dinner, dessert (while watching the Lakers game) then we went home. On the way home, my dad told me that I will go to Houston at 11:30 tomorrow.
