    ... over we walked out to the church into SNOW! Everyone was excited that it was snowing, everyone but us that was...We were freezing! We spent the evening with family, and helped finished wrapping all those presents from Mom, Dad and Santa. Finally, it was time to sleep.

    We still haven't seen any snow and hopefully the temperatures will stay above 0C. We are seeing lots of Canada geese and snow geese and we even saw a herd of deer.

    We were not able to find a campground that is open so we stayed in a WalMart parking lot overnight. With our furnace and our generator running, we were quite cosy.

    After a long drive from Toronto, we arrived in South Orange ahead of Michael. The drive was long because we originally anticipated going into NY to see Joanna and Joel. maya had a work thing and was going to try to meet up with us.     ... would be another 20 or so people jumping on, how would we cope?!?! On arrival in the ghetto (and we mean ghetto) of Spanish Harlem, we decided to stay close to where the bus was going to be parked and go for a drink with the others.
