Always enjoy staying at Hilton Garden Inns. Nice room, not huge but good, clean space. Great view of Mt. Le Count.

First glance LOVED this hotel and was so happy I have booked her. Beautiful lobby and the guy at the desk was so nice and helpful and even called us when our room was ready and offered me ice for my cooler or to refrigerate my medicine while we waited. The room itself was nice but then I realized it was pretty dirty. So much so that I actually ended up getting cleaner and a cloth from the maid and did it myself. I have never, in all the hotels I have stayed at around the world EVER felt the need to clean my own room so for this to happen at a Hilton was so disappointing for me. And it wasn't like they just hurried today but that this room has not been cleaned right in a LONG time. There was dust on every table and thick too. And there was food stuck on to all the cards and other things in the room including what appeared to be cupcake icing all over the channel guide for the TV. The bed is also disappointing. It has some adjustment on the side for softness but I am not sure its working and the sheets do not fit the bed so it makes the whole thing feel cheap. The linens are not as nice as other Hilton properties as well. But the decor is nice and the location is really good...on the end of town closest to the park. I have a refrigerator and a microwave in the room which is nice. The ac works well and is not loud. There is free parking and a short walk to the main road. There is free wifi which actually works and is convenient to use! There is a fireplace in the room and its very nice and the room is well appointed. In fact if it was not for the cleaning issue (which is obviously a serious problem) I would have easily given this 5 stars. The only other thing I would change was the jacuzzi. Its outside and by a fire pit off the lobby area and quite large and beautiful but the jets don't work so its just circulating the water and not actually massaging anything really.

These last two- three weeks have been extremely fruitful and worthwhile as I have been finding a balance between being lead, teaching others to lead and leading others. I may not sound that bad but when you are faced with all of them at the same time it is hard to be in all the roles and be present with them all. I have ...

... was a great ride. I had a much more fun ride than yesterday; we all did. I think it was probably a mixture of having rode it once and also that we were on the inside for much of the ride today so I know at least that I wasn't as nervous. We stopped at the overlook at almost the end going North and met a great guy that had come over from New Zealand to ride. He flew to Atlanta and drove up and was headed back there now. He said he loves our roads and his wife and he did Rte 66 a ...

Everywhere you looked there were miniature golf courses, miniature race car tracks, ferris wheels, arcades, giant slides, roller coasters and anything else you could possibly think of that would entertain adults and children alike.

It was almost like driving down the Las Vegas Strip, only instead of casinos there were all of the places I just mentioned. ...

... Visitors Center. It was lunch time and the ride to and through Cades Cove is pretty long and we were not sure about food availability so we turned around and went to Gatlinburg. We rode down the main street and then settled on lunch at the Park Grill. We had the salad bar and split a burger. It wasn’t very good to me and a bit pricey for lunch but we were able to remain parked there so I included the ...
