After getting a late start this morning, I feel sufficiently refreshed and ready for an adventurous trip to Key Largo! I enjoyed a delicious Brazilian breakfast, homemade by my host. We sat and ate on the porch overlooking the harbor and downtown Miami. After saying our goodbyes, I left the apartment and headed out into the steamy Miami morning. Lucky I ate that brekkie hehe!!! We were at Atlantis and when ...

Feeling quite thankful for the incredibly accommodating friends Nic & I were able to spend a few days with here in FL before heading to Haiti. Mike & Jess have become instant family as they've insisted on paying for great food and good beer while we try to get last minute details wrapped up and rest up before leaving behind the U.S. for 5 months.

On arrival, Mike was so concerned that the blow up mattress wouldn't be comfortable enough he ...

... here and dislocated his shoulder so he had spent hours in hospital and in agony during the trip. Despite this, we are both so glad that we came back as part of this trip as we“ve had a fantastic time on this trip. The weather was blazing hot and we had a great couple of days chilling out on the South and North beaches. We spent most of the time playing in the sea which is surprisingly warm and once you are in you don“t want to get out. We also did some of the touristy ...
