South Bend is stunning, a university town about 200 kms from Chicago on a big river. It had been snowing all day and they had about 4 inches on the ground. On the recommendation of the B&B we went to the pub 3 blocks away were they had live music. We wandered down in the snow and picked a prime spot at the bar to watch the entertainment. I have one observation, no-one really drinks, I have not seen any-one ...

... saved an entire village from the storm. It is unimaginable what level of devastation would have occurred without the center's presence. I am overwhelmingly thankful to so many individuals, families, and organizations for helping the Filipino people survive after the storm and for supporting me through every challenge since November 8th.
