    ... Sunday at 1am. We are trying to stay positive and just roll with the punches. I guess a night in Tokyo isn't so bad. Since the flight change this plane is pretty much half empty and I've got my own row!! So now that we are losing a day of travel we will not be losing time due to jet lag.     The Best...

    • Hotel - Lexington Springhill Suites: best room layout and behind the hotel, unbeknownst to us, was the Red Mile Race Track (very cool).
    • Breakfast - Lexington Springhill Suites: regular Marriott breakfast, but for some reason it was better here.

    ... to get the car we wanted with our reservation, but ended up with a larger car and a lower price! Thank you Costco Travel!

    Logan came home and we visited with him. For dinner we met my friends, Tammie, Karen and Patty for dinner at Ledo's. Logan braved the situation and joined all of us ladies.

    Headed to bed for a good night's sleep before hitting the road in the morning.

    ... seem to be no higher than 10-12 stories. Not sure if the skyscrapers are in another part of town or if there are some regulations about building height in this particular area. Also there are quite a few impressive old buildings but not nearly as many as in the other east coast cities we have been to. It looks like a lot of heritage buildings have been replaced with modern blocks. There are a lot of statues and monuments ...

    The brisk air outside the terminal was a bit of a surprise, and sent us all looking for our jackets. The short taxi ride home was uneventful, and it was around 7:15 pm by the time we got everything inside. We each headed for a shower and it was almost a race to see who could get into bed first.
