Safe and quiet in Chesapeake City

... in a while. We found out that the city wall was a free dock for transients, and if you plugged in it was 15$, and an extra 10$ if you used water. We decided to try to get on the dock and charge everything since our computers were just about done and the first camera battery was dead too. As soon as a boat moved we zoomed up and tied up. We walked to the tiki bar at the Chesapeake Inn & Marina for lunch and had a nice relaxing time sitting on the water. Chesapeake City is ...

        Bad choice of anchorage

We read bad things about the anchorage on the south side, and the winds were supposed to be light. We decided instead to go to Cohansy Cove and sneak around the little island to be protected from fetch and waves from the tankers. The Delaware is huge however, and it took us a out 45 minutes to get to the cove. The waves were not bad and the wind was only supposed to get milder, and we were getting very tired. We decide not to take the longer hike up the river to more ...

Morning walk at the High Line. Park walkway converted from a disused railway track.

Drove south. Stopped for lunch at Mt Laurel.

Then south again to Chesapeake City but couldn't find a room there.

Found an inn at Georgetown called the Kitty Knight Inn. It is supposedly haunted by a good ghost called Knitty Knight. She saved the house and a neighbours house from being burnt down by the British raiders.

... send me all the way back around Baltimore. As an aside, the deer totally crossed after I passed by.

So the GPS took me in a circle around the airport about three times, before I headed into Downtown Baltimore, which looked like Gotham City...erhem...the comic book one...not the Nolan Film's one >.> Anyway! So I drive through Baltimore, and I'm STARVING. I didn't buy a meal for the plane because it was only going to be an hour flight, but I didn't expect ...

... This room was nice and cozy, but not my favorite. The next room is my favorite of all the rooms. It was really small and had a private bathroom, but I liked it because of the cool bunk beds and the theme. The style was sort of African and safari. There were a bunch of fake grassy plants, and fake zebra skin chests. I was a real big fan of the zebra chests because ...
