... afternoon. We packed everyone up to pick up ingredients for a spaghetti supper, which we enjoyed with the Doyle's. A trip to the Doyle's house always involves a walk around their park. While I am enoying a white Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino I will start on my first story!

Yesterday I arrived in Denver after a very long day.
My family came to say goodbye at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and I was so happy for that.

A travel blog entry by lewnwdc on Jun 17, 2013

... 7 p.m. now. I checked the Metro schedules and realized I had to leave no later than 7:52 if I wanted to get out to Dulles to try for the last flight. I raced to eat dinner and run through my departure checklists, dashing out the door at 7:53 and walking to Metro Center to catch an Orange Line train to West Falls Church. There I boarded the 8:45 Washington Flyer bus to IAD, arriving at 9:05.

I expected a quick zip through TSA Pre-Check security since I am a Trusted ...

... manner. It's been a little more difficult to do these past few weeks because of mid-term preparation, but I'm hoping to get back on track soon.

That being said, they are still some things in terms of the culture at DU where I feel out of the loop. I think the two biggest things are parties and sororities. All the time I see girls dressed up on my floor getting ready to go out with their friends and I just shuffle back to my room. ...
