    ... that elk were 'wild and unpredictable' so I was a bit scared that one was going to charge the car. We snapped a few pictures and headed on.

    ... Buffalo grazing beside the road and causing a pretty good traffic jam. One of the younger bulls tried to pace the motorcycles, so we did not stop for the photo op. they seemed to have no fear of us, but were just curious as to what we were. Once we got out of the valley, we saw some amazing scenery and rode some great roads, although the roads are under construction in many places and were actually well packed and wetted dirt.
