    Hit the BP station in Metropolis, IL randomly and the boys were excited to find out that it's Superman's hometown. Even the gas station had these sweet cutouts to pose with. They want to collect stickers from all of the states as we travel so we were able to get a fun one. As we travel further south the people seem to get more polite. Less fashionable perhaps but definitely kinder and more considerate. Made it to Kentucky!!! ...

    ... at the Blackhorse Pub and sampled some of their home brew. Wanted to catch the show at the Roxy, but the theater was dark. Clarksville is a great town with large number of breweries, wineries, and distilleries. It is also on the Civil War trail and well worth a stop if you are traveling this way.

    After Trenton, we headed back to Fort Campbell where Drew took us on a tour of some of the facilities on base. Drew is part of a company that provides training for his Special Operations unit.
