... the 8:30 am choir practice early to present cards and gifts of appreciation from everyone to the choir director, his wife, and the choir pianist. Some of the choir members were absent, but the director was anxious to begin, so I just went ahead. Then back to our room to freshen up for morning services. The choir sang "Faithful Servant" for special music, and we had excellent messages from David Hadley and Frank Dunkle. The first message was ...

Just as we had for our Charlotte/Lincolnton social last winter, people had been asked to donate prizes ...

I had to leave off relating the end of our arrival day, because I was going to be late to today's choir practice. When you share a room with family members, it is difficult to get much time to write travel blogs, especially with the busy Feast schedule. But it's great that we have two whole rooms, as well as two bathrooms. We have had many Feasts where a good amount of time was spent waiting for another family member to vacate the bathroom :)

... to hit the road again for their various Feast destinations. Mr. Chris Rowland gave an excellent sermon about how to relate to others, and just what it really meant when Peter wrote to be ready with an answer for the hope that lies within us. It doesn't we have to memorize huge long passages of scripture to be a good witness, although I think it helps to know Bible verses, but if we are personally convicted and excited about God's way, we will find ...
