... of locals. The place was hopping and continued to do so until our departure. Everyone in line was taken care off. Fun to people watch as we in our warmer clothes, enjoyed the sandal wearing, short and t-shirt groups coming in. Made me hotter and hotter, I could hardly wait to ditch my wolly socks! It was clear we were overdressed.
Tomorrow we head to Savannagh, Georgia for a couple of days. Night now!

During the trip down anything that wasn't fastened down below ended up on the floor in the salon. Left Annapolis at 2 Monday and arrived at Top Rack Marina at about 2 this afternoon. Rewarded ourselves with a great dinner out at the Amber Lantern Restaurant. Early to bed. Up at 5:30 tomorrow to get underway at first light.
Nothing much to report today. We did our usual load of laundry before we left the house. Got to Lake Prince to find Mom in a Therapy session, so we went to the library to read. Carol found a book that sounds pretty good...Ghost Ship. A true story so I'm gonna have to check it out. We spent a bit over an hour with mom before it was her lunch time and then it was off to the drugstore for us. I was out of the stuff to dry my sinus at nite and you know what that ...
... were Safari off road rides to see them, but no guarantees. So we didn't do it. Off to HI, (Hatteras Island) South, to see Bodie Island Lighthouse. 0n the way we stopped at at "Dirty Dick's Crab House" to get a hat for a certain someone. And we stopped at Linda's favorite store, "Super Wings" to finish some shopping. Anyway, the Ipad told us we could not climb Bodie due to restoration in progress. It lied. Old info. It's been open all summer ...
