    ... expecting it to be under soon. I’d say we were fortunate to arrive when we did or else we would have only seen the ships from a distance.

    At the fort, we popped into the various buildings but a volunteer in the Armory kept our attention telling about the various guns and weapons. Also there was a nice cozy fire going in the fireplace and that may have been one reason we stayed longer.

    ... I am having trouble with the concept of 400 years of naval history. This is a city that is so proud of their navy and the men who are serving their country and those who already have. There is a big air show on this week-end but we have decided not to go. The crowds are said to be horrendous so we are going to visit lighthouses, walk the rest of the Cannonball Trail and then watch the sunset from our balcony.     ... be accomplished before dinner (or at least before midnight ;).

    Tomorrow we are taking our practice run on the highway. If all goes well, we will take the camper to the weigh station and find out how much stuff we have crammed in here. Fingers crossed we didn't go over 2,500 pounds worth of cargo! And toes crossed we managed to get everything securely stowed! I will post again tomorrow evening to let you all know how it went.
