... a taxi , that didn't work eventually we gave up and borrowed a phone from the gift store . We caught the taxi into the Hollywood for our last walk along the strip and had lunch at hooters I had nachos and Jake had cheese fries, we did some shopping at forever 21, H&M and caps and then we walked to Amoeba records the worlds largest independent record store, you have to leave all your bags at the front door it ...
... width, and lack of the comfortable headrest experienced in a usual arm chair - but the leg room was magnificent. If I stretched my legs out directly I could just touch the bulkhead and I could actually stand up comfortably in front of my seat and stretch a little as opportunity provided. ... and in awe of the creative notions that catch the eye. Back across the road, I enter a small bookshop featuring various series of books - Harry Potter being prominent - as well as books of spells, dragon anthologies, trivia, other writings of JK Rowling and the list goes on. Back across to a candy shop of sorts where one is able to indulge in special sodas, jelly beans, candy bars and other delights... a diabetic coma waiting to happen. And then, you can't miss it... ...
... It was a bit expensive at US$70.00 given all we had was the pasta, pizza and a glass of wine each. A bit different to Thailand prices.
The weather was pretty hot today. I think it was about 32 degrees.
We spent some time with Tom when we returned and had a nice bottle of Robert Mondavi red wine that we had picked up at a supermarket. We finally got into bed at about 11.00pm

Similar to the lodge we stayed at while in Monterey, this Best Wester offers free continental breakfast; again lots of white bread and jam, but surprisingly good bagels and a bonafide pancake machine (!) – just push the button and out comes a pancake. After breakfast we get in the car and set our sights on Farmers’ Market.
