Got up and had a leisurely morning getting up and going. We had about a 4 hour trip from Willard up through Utah and into Idaho. Made breakfast and got everything together and hit the road.
Our goal was to be in Eagle in the afternoon. The roads were all 4 lane and in good shape. We ate lunch in Twin Falls, ID and refilled our gas as well.

First stop today was the Golden Spike National Historic Site in Brigham, Utah. We were able to watch two steam engines re-enact the meeting of the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads to form the first transcontinental railroad. Next we visited the City of Rocks in Idaho, a stark area of large rock formations.
