    ... much hotter than this?!..yikes!! I did manage to find decent storage for the van ( my faithful steed)..so will be dropping that off on Sunday...? "separation anxiety"?? I must say,tho' ...this 'pre- boarding period' /from the time I left the cabin seems like the longest time ever!!  If the trip maintains this 'speed' -- I'm in for a long ride!!! Ok ...there really isn't anything of interest to report - not even any of the picsare noteworthy ...but I just wanted to fill in that ...

    ... the elderly Selma and Irv, for our first shipboard meal.

    Catherine, God love her, noticed a couple behind me seated at a table for ten surrounded by eight empty chairs. Within a few minutes she first experienced failure in having us moved to their table and next experienced victory at arranging that for future nights. That was, on her part, a classy move that, as an often-solo traveler, I appreciated more than she or you can know.

    ... we all went and had lunch at the Solarium Bistro, running into Mike, Kathy, Emily and Kim, who were also there. Lunch was good.

    ... I had that kind of money I don't think I would spend it on a yacht like that. It would be my luck we would go out on the first sailing and hit a rock and there goes everything, lol.

    Off to my room... a marina view room facing north. A little out of the way but the quietness was well worth it. I had a massage booked at the spa for 5 pm and it was wonderful. Pricey but wonderful. I sometimes wonder where they come ...

    Red Eye flight last night from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Not a wink of sleep, Was too busy looking out the window of my prized window seat and trying to guess where we were the whole flight.
    Plus
