... both sites. The process of doing these sites is very orchestrated and well catered-for. You drive up the well-made-up roads. You park in a bay in a marked-out parking area. Use the restrooms if you need to (and don’t mind the smell of a hole-in-the-ground type toilet). You walk up to the viewing area, or follow the paths, and you will find information boards telling you about what you are looking at. The National Parks Service want ...

Our long trip round to Sequoia National Park , and not having booked a campsite there, meant that we would stop in Bakersfield for the night. ... people drive! We survive the freeway long enough to see another sunset, and finally find our route northwest to I-40. Allowing the GPS to speak again, I find that it is 158 miles along a two-lane road up to the freeway, and there is ONE town along the route. It's off to Wickenburg, Arizona for us!!

Amazingly, as we reach Wickenburg at 8:00pm, there is an RV Park that Ike spots right in town. Great ...

... don't know what was in the air this day but the kids were quite well behaved compared to their usual standards as well as Johnny being in a happy mood!!! Once I arrived back from class I chilled out by the pool and shooted some hoops - I am getting quite good now. It was my day off today so once the other had left me and the girls went to Hart Park, the route was very scenic for miles all we could see was oil fields. We must have only stayed at the park for ...
