The Wild Wild West hotel is named by the locals the Hotel No tell which really means that its not an up market hotel, its not to bad, a few prozzys are knocking about but we have found it ok. Last day in Hollywood

... then back to the hotel to finish the domestic stuff; packing and have our final walk around in Hollywood.

We went off to see a movie - Matt Damon's Elysium in the Chinese Theatre - just something you had to do when we were so close.

We head off to Tijuana tomorrow and have our final night on the mainland at the airport hotel.

The Emmy's are on in LA tonight, so the streets are blocked and full of lots of people, waiting to "star spot" - doesn't appeal to us so we ...

... but also, in my case, buoyed up by the several litres of coffee drunk) we headed off at a little after 8am.

It was a long but far less hazardous (or 'wiggly', to use Will's terminology) drive than the day we arrived in the area. We stopped once or twice in the park to take in the view for the last time, and eventually arrived in Fresno around lunchtime.
