    ... place...But the photographer tried real hard...Dar takes the best pics...I usually cut the head off or miss the most important aspect of the picture...glad he is my travel buddy!

    While making sure we had the right street on our Rick Steve's map a local businessman stopped to offer his assistance...and his business card and to show us his jewelry shop which has lovely jewels..."Please come in and see for yourself" while he took my hand...Shades of Spain when we were kanoodled into a leather shop!
    Dar took my other hand, thanked him and told him we would be by later...whew Artin Fine Jewels almost ...

    ... that had out of state registration plates. We followed a couple of rivers through the country side. It was just gorgeous out there. We made the Gorge at about 11 and spent an hour wandering the trails down through the gorge to the river, and up to the top of the dam wall. An hour well spent.
