... try the pizza later in the week to see if that lives up to the hype. The wind dropped later in the day/evening and we walked through the city for dinner at a vegan restaurant (Mikaelas choice). It was surprisingly tasty.

Wednesday 8/4 - We hired a car today to travel to Huntington to visit Scott ((Mikaela's friend) and see his school and the town he lives in. We hired a small car wich was probably a mistake as it turned out to be a Mazda 2 and ...

      Family update

My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.

Today is John and my 13th wedding anniversary. A bit bittersweet, but pretty wonderful to spend it with family. Our family bought us a gift card to a local restaurant for an anniversary dinner tonight. There is so much love here right now.

I'll admit; being a towner who joined the circus last year has always made me feel on the outside (not always in a bad way, mind you) but last night I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Kelly Miller Circus is our family and always will be. Thank you, dear friends...we'll see you again soon.
