Hello from France! So on Sunday we flew from Athens to Rome, picked up our rental car and drove 5 or so hours to Milan. It wasn't very impressive.. I would not say it is a stop that one MUST make while traveling. We made the best out of it, and visited the Milan Cathedral - it was massive and quite impressive and beautifully made but I wouldn't say …

We walked around a little until we went back to the group to get ready for lunch.
We waited with everyone by the cable cars until it was time to walk to the restaurant with the others.
When we were walking to the restaurant, we walked throught the ...

Our friends Gavin and Susie moved to Bern, Switzerland, a few years ago with their kids. Susie's parents are Swiss and the job opportunities here for as a hydro plant operator and electricity trader are much better. Gavin stays home to care for Willem, their 3 year old boy. We arranged for Gav and Willem to come down to Lausanne in Thursday so we could take the 1/2 hour boat ride across the lake to Evian, France. This is where the famous Evian water is sourced and it's another ...
