Room 5225 and our room was HUGE.

King sized bed and very comfortable, large balcony, big bathroom with a separate toilet.

Hairdryer, iron and iron board, safe and refrigerator (although we could not figure out how to open it lol).

Breakfast was so nice with everything you could imagine to eat was there, they even had a toaster!!!

The reception are was so pretty as you will seem from the photos. Restaurants close by.

Internet poor, air conditioning didn't work, central to town, lovely breakfast, only one person at checkout

Time to leave Zermatt, after a wonderful experience !
Our coach was waiting for us at Tasch, when we eventually arrived by electric taxi. Our adventure continues on today to Evian (famous for their pure fresh mineral water they sell to the world.) Instead of going direct to Evian, Kurt took us around to north side of Lake Geneva. (the largest …

Breakfast in room, walked to train station to see about a trip to Le Cerque, decided not to go, walked to Old Town of Geneva, caught the tram to Plan De Palais, trash & trivia market, then cheese fondue and Vin Chaud (mulled wine) for ...

Breakfast in room, picked up our tickets from the train station and changed some money from CHF to Euro. Walked to lake Geneva, took a boat ride on the lake - very cold out on the lake. Lunch at Burette Les Bains, a hidden gem on Lake Geneva. Walked to Old Geneva Town then back to our room for a ...

Our friends Gavin and Susie moved to Bern, Switzerland, a few years ago with their kids. Susie's parents are Swiss and the job opportunities here for as a hydro plant operator and electricity trader are much better. Gavin stays home to care for Willem, their 3 year old boy. We arranged for Gav and Willem to come down to Lausanne in Thursday so we could take the 1/2 hour boat ride across the lake to Evian, France. This is where the famous Evian water is sourced and it's another ...

... changed much over the years and I found it very quaint and full of charm. Montreux has all the money and large hotels and apartments a plenty. Villennue has kept its local feel. However it was hosting a paragliding event. Such a busy place is Lake Geneva. This turned out to be fun to watch. I'm still not sure if the guys where jumping off the mountains or from a plane but they were being judged on their aerial tricks and ability to land on an inflatable platform in the ...
