    Internet poor, air conditioning didn't work, central to town, lovely breakfast, only one person at checkout

    Shuttling back on down the hill in the electric taxes, Tim decided to walk down, this was easily achieved & we got down in plenty of time.

    ... swim in. We went into town but because it was Sunday everything was closed. We went back to the lake and found out where all the people were. It was very crowded and every second person had a small bbq. There was that many bbqs that the air was thick with smoke, talk about smoke on the water.     Our friends Gavin and Susie moved to Bern, Switzerland, a few years ago with their kids. Susie's parents are Swiss and the job opportunities here for as a hydro plant operator and electricity trader are much better. Gavin stays home to care for Willem, their 3 year old boy.
