Hello from France! So on Sunday we flew from Athens to Rome, picked up our rental car and drove 5 or so hours to Milan. It wasn't very impressive.. The trams are great: clean, cheap, and all electric. The city of Geneva (from what I could see) was really clean too, with recycling bins everywhere there's a rubbish bin. Bless her heart, when I said that we didn't know what we were up to, she was quick to quip - "I'll just do whatever you do!" with a huge smile on her face. Sigh…I love my cousin.

That morning, Angela made coffee for us (she didn't even need to read ...

Our friends Gavin and Susie moved to Bern, Switzerland, a few years ago with their kids. Susie's parents are Swiss and the job opportunities here for as a hydro plant operator and electricity trader are much better. Gavin stays home to care for Willem, their 3 year old boy. We arranged for Gav and Willem to come down to Lausanne in Thursday so we could take the 1/2 hour boat ride across the lake to Evian, France. This is where the famous Evian water is sourced and it's another ...
