    Denver, the mile-high city. They could drop the 'mile' - this place is off its face on cannabis! We stopped in Denver as a gateway to the national parks, it wasn't really on the bucket list, but was a convenient route. We were both pleasantly surprised by the place.     ... hall, everything is very well organised. When a bus arrives the baggage handlers working for the bus company bow for the bus, same when the bus leaves. Traffic is light and shortly after 5 pm we arrive at the Metropolitan Hotel from where it is a 5 min walk to our apartment. Nice apartment on the (26th) top floor with a great view over Tokyo.     ... called an ambulance. When they came they wouldn't let Colin in due to 'insurance reasons' ?!? What a crazy system they have over here. Makes you really appreciate the nhs! So we walked back to the hotel and Colin drove to the hospital to be with Steph while we tried to get some sleep. Apparently they're home now so hopefully she gets better very soon :) thank you both of you again! We both agreed that despite the bit at the end we had a great night. ...

    ... the street when along comes a bike bar. Bike bars are a bar where up to 12 people, 6 each side, peddle along the street whilst having a drink. These are usually booked by groups and cost quite a bit to hire. There were a few seats free and the group asked us to join them. It was great!     ... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Then we drove to a park with lots of Christmas lights and walked around in the cold looking at all the pretty lights.
