I arrived in Columbia, SC on October 6, 2009. It was a very small and clean airport. I went to go visit Lake Murray and it was nice, but nothing special. The trees are beautiful here and the weather was perfect. When I got to the hotel, I worked out, and was very hungry. I decided to walk around downtown to find food. I took pictures of the capital. My favorite hostel was in Amsterdam even tho it was kinda a hotel and my least fave was Belgium...favorite food was the Indian food in Amsterdam but close second was all the schnitzel, especially in Heidelburg!! 5pm<br><br>South of the Border is this rediculous stop on I 95 just south of the South Carolina and North Carolina border. Hence the name. Anyway, they have huge dinasour statues, gift shops, and terrible food. I have been wanting to check it out all summer and I'm stoked I finally did. I bought a bag some nic nacs and a tank top. Tyler got a blanket. <br><br>We didn't take any pictures. It just wasn't that kind of a visit.

Tyler and I are on our way to Maryland. Joey puts another $2 of quarters into the meter and says "Oh, that sucks this cars meter is expired" .......................<br><br>Then, he looks at the meter machine, front and back ... Up at the crack of dawn today, and drove through to South Carolina. We stayed with friends from NH that recently moved down south. It was great for Gabi &amp; Heather to see each other: All the girls had fun, and sounds like they are still awake chatting now (12:30 am). They'll be cranky when I get them up at 6:30 to head out!

... So, we were in bed by 10:00 p.m. That gave us an early start this morning. We were on the road by 8:30 a.m. If we drive straight thru, our ETA would be midnight. However, we will not drive straight thru. With the snow fat home, we will not be able to pull the camper and truck into the driveway. So, we will stop overnight and arrive early afternoon tomorrow. :-)<br>

After moving from London to Dublin, Ross and I hopped on a plane to South Carolina to spend Christmas with my parents. It was a relaxing trip, during which time we ate too much and shopped too much! Oh, my brother came down from NYC as well... so it was a full house!
