... a daily newspaper (usually USA Today) to sleeping car passengers. I learned today that Maryland icon William Donald Schaefer passed away April 18 while I was in Victoria. Schaefer was a long term Baltimore Mayor and State Governor and Comptroller with a stunning record of accomplishment and havit of opening his mouth without thinking. He was most recently a fixture at the retirement village where several friends now live. Rest in Peace, G'vnor.

... around the downtown area, we found that all of Washington's Smithsonian institutes were free so we decided to visit the Air & Space museum, stopping on route at the FBI Building.
